Keeping consistent time is a challenge for many people no matter what level of player they are. It's extremely common for players to slow down when a difficult passage is approaching or being played (and it's even common to speed up to get through a tricky place in a song in a hurry). We will dive into the subtleties of common time signatures, how to count and feel time, in addition to learning how to use tools like a metronome and recorded tracks.
The class level of our one-night "Keeping Time" workshop is roughly at 2-3, but this class would be of use to players of all abilities. Fee for this one night class is $65.
